Hello! I’m Nicola, a science writer and chemical biology researcher.
I use my background in research to create informative but accessible science-based content as a blog and on social media platforms, Instagram and TikTok. For an overview of previous work, take a look at my portfolio.
In 2018, I graduated from my MSci degree in Medicinal Chemistry. I then continued my education by undertaking a PhD where my research project focussed on applying chemistry to investigate solutions for the antibiotic resistance crisis. I received my doctorate in chemical biology in January 2024. Since then, I have worked as a post doctoral researcher, using my time to work on my writing abilities and gain project management skills.
